This month McDonald's Canada is launching their all-new Buttermilk Biscuits. Made with real buttermilk and fresh baked daily, their light and fluffy biscuits are just like homemade.
You can try a Buttermilk Biscuit at any participating McDonald's restaurant on February 9th and 10th during breakfast hours for FREE!
McDonald's breakfast sandwich on a biscuit is available in a variety of ways:

As much as I love the sound of processed cheese, gotta go with, On its own with strawberry jam.
I would say on its own with strawberry jam because you can get the real taste of the biscuit without all the extras with it.
Put bacon OR sausage on anything and it sounds good; but, in this case I'm going with the sausage.

I love them just plain, so I will take it with the strawberry jam and not use the jam. The butter stuff they put on the outside makes them taste so good. I like the crispy parts at the edges.

Oh yummy! A hot biscuit with strawberry jam. Reminds me of the days when I used to stand at the old wood stove waiting for Grandmas biscuits to be ready. Back then (lol) granny used to get strawberry jam in large gold colored metal pails. OMG there was enough jam for each and every one of her grandchildren and great grandchildren to eat hot biscuits and jam. Yum yum : )

I too, have also spent time in the South - Georgia, Nashville, North Carolina and Florida and there is nothing better than those delicious buttermilk biscuits!
