1. Agreement: No purchase is necessary to enter UrbanMoms contests. The act of entering the Contest constitutes acceptance of the contest rules and the decisions of the Contest Sponsors' panel.
2. Sponsors: The Contest Sponsors are UrbanMoms, GolinHarris Limited and Johnson & Johnson Inc.
3. Eligibility: All UrbanMoms contests are open to all Canadian residents (excluding residents of Quebec) and who are over the age of majority in their province or territory of residence, except for employees, immediate families and anyone living with any employee of UrbanMoms or its corporate affiliates, advertising or promotional agencies.
4. Current Contests and Promotions:
The Benadryl Canada's Most Prepared Mom contest ("Contest"). The contest begins at approximately 8:30 a.m. EDT on June 11, 2012 and closes at 12 p.m. EDT on July 9, 2012 ("Submission Period") after which the Submission Period will be closed and no further Entries shall be accepted. To be eligible to win, Entrants will submit the entry form with your full contact information and story up to 250 words that will describe how they are Canada's most prepared mom to the following link: http://questionpro.com/t/AkNSZNVOg along with the optional photo (collectively, the "Work") described herein (the "Entry" or the "Entrant"). The link will be available through the UrbanMoms.ca Lounge. Entrants experiencing difficulties with this link should email carol@urbanmoms.ca to submit their Entry. Entrants will also be given the option to upload a colour photograph of themselves demonstrating "preparedness" which must meet all of the criteria set forth in the Contest Rules. The photograph may also include only the Entrant's immediate family with their individual consents. The photo shall not exceed a file size of 10MB and of sufficient quality and resolution so as to be clearly posted on the UrbanMoms Lounge pages and UrbanMoms Contest blog pages for UrbanMoms members to see and vote. All Entries become the property of Sponsors and will not be returned for any reason. The odds of winning depend on how many eligible Entries are received for the Contest.
Limit of one Entry per household, per contest, unless otherwise stated. In case of multiple entries, only the first eligible Entry will be considered. Entries are subject to verification and illegible Entries, bulk drop offs, photocopies, scanned copies, facsimiles or other mechanically or electronically reproduced Entries will not be accepted and will be disqualified. Void in whole or in part where prohibited by law.
A panel of the Sponsors ("Judges") will review all eligible Entries based on the following criteria: 20% creativity, 40% planning and 40% problem solving. Judges will select up to 5 highest scored Entries (exact number in Sponsors' sole discretion) ("Finalists"). Judges decisions will be based upon the above criteria. The decisions of the judges shall be final and may not be challenged in any way.
On or about July 10, 2012, each Finalist as selected by the Sponsor will be notified by email, as provided on the Entry. Finalist will be required to (i) correctly answer a mathematical Skill Testing Question, (ii) submit a 250 word blog post sharing their story on how they will prepare for their upcoming trip if they are declared the Winner, and (iii) execute and return via email/mail the Release (defined below) ("Required Forms") within seven (7) days of date of Issuance of the Release. Failure to return all Required Forms within seven (7) days of date of issuance or if a Finalist voluntarily withdraws may result in the Finalist being disqualified and will not be eligible for the Prize. The Sponsors are not responsible for the failure for any reason whatsoever of a selected Finalist to receive notification or for the Sponsors to receive a selected Finalist's response.
The eligible Finalists who have returned all Required Forms within seven (7) days of date of issuance and satisfied all the requirements herein, will then be posted in random order to the Contest pages within the Lounge on Urbanmoms.ca for UrbanMoms members to vote for the Finalist they determine to be best suited to hold the "The BENADRYL® Canada's Most Prepared Mom" title. The voting period will open on July 30, at 8:30 am. EDT and end on August 3, 2012, at 12:00 p.m. EDT ("Voting Period"). The winning eligible Finalist will be the eligible Finalist with the highest total number of UrbanMoms.ca member votes at the end of the Voting Period (the "Winner"). In the event of a tie, the panel of Sponsors will determine the winner of the Prize, in their sole discretion, based on who would best serve as "The BENADRYL® Canada's Most Prepared Mom". The Winner will be posted on UrbanMoms.ca on or about August 7, 2012.
To vote online visit the Contest pages in the UrbanMoms.ca Lounge during the Voting Period to review and vote for the Finalist you determine to be best suited to hold the "The BENADRYL® Canada's Most Prepared Mom" title. You must be an UrbanMoms.ca member to be eligible to vote. Limit of one (1) vote per UrbanMoms.ca member per day during the Voting Period. In the case of multiple votes, only the first eligible vote will be considered. Finalists may vote for their own Entry. Any conduct deemed, at the Sponsors' sole discretion, to be violating these Contest Rules including but not limited to tampering or attempting to tamper with the entry or voting process or the operation of the Contest or the Contest page including but not limited to coercion or bribery of any kind in exchange for votes or abuse of the features on the Contest page as defined herein, will result in disqualification of an entrant.
By entering this Contest and submitting your information, you agree that you have read and understand the Rules and Regulations and that the information you provide will be governed by our Privacy Policy. Furthermore, by participating in this Contest, you represent and warrant that : (i) the Work does not contain any inappropriate material, as determined by Sponsors in their sole discretion, including, but not limited to, any material that is libelous, defamatory, profane or obscene; (ii) the Work is original and all right, title, and interest (including copyright) therein and thereto is owned and/or controlled by the Entrant to the full extent necessary to enable the Sponsor to use the Work as contemplated by these Contest Rules; (iii) the Work does not infringe upon the intellectual property, privacy or other statutory or common law rights of any third party.
The prize consists of a $10,000 CAD Flight Centre travel voucher ("Prize"). The Prize cannot be redeemed for cash and must be used within 12 months of being issued. If Winner is unable to travel on dates specified and agreed to, Prize will be forfeited and another Winner will be chosen, time permitting. Airline carrier's regulations and conditions apply. Prize may not be combined with any other offer and travel may not qualify for frequent flyer miles or loyalty programs. Prize must be accepted as awarded. The Prize may not be sold, transferred and are not convertible to cash. Sponsors reserve the right to substitute the Prize in whole or in part in the event that all or any component of the Prize is unavailable or cannot be awarded for any reason. The Prize is awarded as-is and no warranties or guarantees are implied or expressed, beyond the standard manufacturer's warranty. The Winner is solely responsible for all costs for all meals, personal expenses, transportation to and from originating airport, travel and medical insurance, travel documentation, airport improvement fees, taxes, gratuities, telephone calls, in-room charges and any other expense not explicitly included in the Prize.
By submitting your entry you agree and acknowledge that: (i) Sponsors are granted an unlimited, royalty free, irrevocable, right and license to reproduce, post, modify, display, adapt and/or broadcast the Work in any form of media, in part or in whole, now known or hereinafter developed beginning on the date of entry, including, but not limited to, in connection with the administration, promotion and exploitation of the Contest without compensation or notification to you; and (ii) you waive all moral rights in the Work in favor of the Sponsors.
Winner will be required to execute a legal agreement and release ("Release") confirming (i) that Winner is eligible for the Contest in compliance with these Contest Rules; (ii) acceptance of the Prize as offered; (iii) release, fully indemnify, discharge and hold harmless of each of the Sponsors, their respective parent, subsidiary and affiliated companies, and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents and representatives from any claim or liability arising from or related to the Work, participation in this Contest or participation in any Contest-related activity. Sponsors assume no responsibility for any claims against infringement of the right of privacy with respect to any Work submitted.
5. Privacy: We only use your personal contact information to administer this contest, including contacting, announcing and promoting prize winners, unless you otherwise agree. All contests are run in compliance with UrbanMoms privacy policy. The information you submit will be monitored by the Sponsors and if there is a question or issue about Johnson & Johnson Inc. products, or if required by law or regulation, you may be contacted by UrbanMoms and/or Johnson & Johnson Inc.
6. Banning: The Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, prohibit any person from entering any contest who they believe to be abusing the rules. Such abuse includes entering false information and any action urbanmoms.ca deems as abuse.
7. Other: All decisions of the contest judge are final. Contests are governed by the laws of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein. The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify any contest or the contest rules at any time without notice.
The Sponsors assumes no responsibility for lost, stolen, delayed, damaged or misdirected entries or for any failure of the website during the Submission Period or Voting Period, for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by Sponsors on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof including any injury or damage to an entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from playing or down loading any material in the promotion. Any attempt to deliberately damage any web site or to undermine the legitimate operation of this promotion is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and should such an attempt be made, Sponsors reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution.
