Our testers fed Hill's Science Diet® Healthy Mobility™ to their older dogs for 30 days (gradually transitioning them onto the new food as recommended) and observed their dogs' behaviour and mobility. Overall, they were very impressed! Almost all of the 100 families we tested this product with noticed an improvement in their older dog's mobility, with the most common results being greater ease in getting up and down from a resting position, greater ease and willingness to get on and off furniture, and greater ease and speed in walks, runs and on stairs. A small percentage of our Go2Girlz testing panel reported that they did not notice a significant change in their dog's mobility, but nobody reported a negative effect. In addition, almost all our testers reported that their dog liked the flavour of the food (small dog owners particularly liked the size of the kibble) and very few reported any negative digestive effects during the transition to the new food (a common concern whenever pet diets are changed) and several reported improved digestion on the Hill's Science Diet® Healthy Mobility™ food. Again, our testers were nearly unanimous when asked if they would recommend Hill's Science Diet® Healthy Mobility™ to a fellow dog-owner, and also when asked if they would buy Hill's Science Diet® Healthy Mobility™ again for their own pet.

Lexy started by running outdoors when we went for walks. Then she was following me downstairs. She has ALWAYS refused the stairs, ever since I adopted her two years ago. Now, she always follows me up & down the stairs, and even uses them on her own. We have two cats also, and she now runs up & down the halls with them. A month ago my dog slept in the living room more than anywhere else. Now he sleeps up stairs at the foot of the bed. Stairs have become a lot easier for him - up and down quickly and with lots of energy. Getting up from a lying position seems to be much easier. He was very slow at doing so and used to stretch slowly when he got up. Now he just gets up and goes. Overall, my dog appears to be more energetic and playful. My dog loves this food and so do I. His energy and mobility have improved to such a degree since starting on this food that it's like he's a completely new animal. And as an added benefit, he's lost 1.5lbs since starting on this and not from lack of eating!
Hill's Science Diet Healthy Mobility has been great for my dogs. They love the taste, and my oldest dog has become much more mobile. The longer that he has been eating it, the better he has been doing. We will certainly continue to buy this food.
After my dog Getch got used to the food, she loved it. There was no hesitation while eating. That on its own made me happy, but what I really loved seeing was the improved mobility she developed. Getch is an older black lab and she has troubles coming down stairs or getting up. After using the Science diet food I noticed that she had more confidence coming down stairs and was able to get up and come play with us quicker. It is worth the try.
My dog loves this food,he is a lot more active since starting on this product.We are definately staying with the healthy mobility food.
I haven't noticed any differences in my dog's mobility since she began eating this product, however she does seem to like the taste very much. I will continue to feed her the Hill's sciece food, as she seems to really enjoy it.

Pike's energy has definately increased since feeding him Healthy Mobility. In the evenings after he eats, he now needs to RUN around the backyard like he's in some sort of NASCAR race...He also loves the taste!
My dog was diagnosed with Lyme disease mid trial, so it is hard for me to decipher whether the food has had a noticable difference. That being said, my dog loved the taste and ate it all up. I am sure that it could not hurt to try and improve my dog's mobility...even with thejoint pain associated with Lyme.

My dog really loved this food. She already had the demeanor of a puppy (she is 12 yrs old), and now she can act like one to. Before this trial she had difficulty getting up from a lying position, and getting up and down the stairs. It would be so frustrating walking behind her because she would just stop halfway up (me living on the second floor w/ two kids, and usually with armload's of groceries or children), this could be quite irritating..
Now she is her chipper old self again and has no problems climbing stairs or getting up. I am very impressed with this dog food.

My 9 year old furry daughter loved her new food! No problem with the transition.
She is showing more what I would call puppy behaviors. She will get up from a lying position (on her own) to go choose a toy to bring me to throw. She is enjoying running after the toy and bringing it to me. She has not done that for a long time. She does seem more stable getting up quickly and is better on the stairs. She loves the taste of the food too.
I can say that there are obvious improvements - more movibility - eager to go for walks while appetite is just about the same. Did not gain or lose any weight. Sleeps much less. Will definitely consider continuing with Hill's Science Diet.
My dog really loves his new food! He is 11 years old and lately I've noticed he has more spring in his step! Especially when chasing our indoor cat :)
Honestly I wasn't expecting any difference..
Our dog, a 6 year old Border Collie/Shepherd Cross was getting a bit heavy and slowing down. Right around the time I got the e-mail to test this out I noticed her looking a bit creaky- slowly getting up, and thumping heavily down. The poor girl was looking worn out! She was also choosing to sit and watch the squirrels rather than terrorise them! Huge [sad] change.
Anyway, we gave her the food thinking nothing was lost.... turns out everything was to be gained! She's back chasing the squirrels along the fence, retrieving sticks for us to throw [again and again and again] and she's developed a waistline again from enjoying the freedom of running again.
Coincidence? I think not.
Great product! We're back on Science Diet.
I admit I was a bit skeptical at first. Our older dog Gracie,a lab/shepherd mix had been going downhill for quite awhile. At 13 years old she could barely climb up on the deck to come in the house. We even had to add a step for her. But within two weeks of changing her diet to Science Diet the change in her was unbelievable. She no onger needs her "step" and has far less issues getting up and down. Not only would I (and Have) highly recommended this product,our friends and family have even noticed the change in her. I will keep on using it faithfuly.
My dog loves Hill's Science Diet Healthy Mobility. She is very fussy and usually will pass over dog food for cat food, but she is very happy to eat her dog food now. I would recommend it for sure!!

I noticed in the past year, however, that he was slowing down. He wasn't as interested in going on long walks anymore, which was unusual for him, because he couldn't get enough of it before. Well, after switching to Hill's Science Diet Healthy Mobility, he's back to his old self again (young self? Lol). He's go more energy and again wants to go for his long walks. We have definitely noticed a great improvement in our dog's mobility, ages 5 and 10 years. They can handle longer walks and are more playful with each other! They had no problems switching from their regular brand of dog food. We will definitely continue using this product!
The kibble is smaller and I have a big dog, but she likes the food, gobbles it down. It's so good to see her moving around well, getting up easily and not whining or moaning from the pain. Her coat feels soft too.
I have two dogs one 11 and one 12 years old, they both loved this food. When transitioning between the old and the new, they acutally picked the new food out and left the old. I saw a great improvement in their mobility. The smaller of the 2 was constantly falling up the stairs now she runs up them as if she were a puppy. They are also extremely eager to get out and play and run. This food has made a great difference in their lives. My dog just loved this food. He dived right in when we gave him a bowl and he eats every bite. Most times there's food left in the bowl but NOT anymore yay! Hill's Science Diet Healthy Mobility has a permanent place in our pantry! Lexy loves it, and has learned to go to the kitchen & bark at the pantry door when she is hungry. Who says an old dog can't learn new tricks? She absolutely loves this food! And it has done wonders for her mobility. She runs in the fields now, jumping up & down in the tall grass. It does my heart good to see her so active again, enjoying her life, running, jumping and taking me for walks. All this is thanks to Science Diet. Thank you for making such a great product.
Both of our dogs really seemed to enjoy this dog food. Our one dog who has difficulty getting up from a laying position seems to have an easier time getting up. She has also been coming up the stairs at night to sleep.
My dog LOVED Science Hill Health Mobility- the fact that he is a picky eater and ate it was fabulous. The extra engery and mobily my 13 year old has gotten is a added bonus!
My dog loves the Science Diet Healthy Mobility. The pieces are small and she loves the taste. As well it seems to agree much better with her stomache as we've noticed she has much better luck in keeping it down. I have noticed that my 8-year old Shepherd\Lab cross has had much more energy since starting this food. I wish this food had been available when my older German Shepherd was still with us as I think it woul dhave helped his hip dysplasia. I was using Nutro for my dog but will definitely keep her on this food as she likes it and it seems to have made a positive difference for her.

What's funny is that my dog refuses to seat Science diet! so you can imagine what's in the product right? the pitt eats EVERYTHING but will not even come close to the bowl when I pour SD, I don't know why or what's wrong. I've seen other pets eat the food at the groomer but my dog wont even come close to it.
