Ahem. We don't want to alarm anybody or anything, but have you looked at your calendar lately? Can it possibly be mid-November already? Yes, it is. And do you know what that means? That's right: the holiday gift-buying season is upon us. Yikes! The mall parkades are probably already all full! But whatever your cultural stripes, having a few good gift ideas up your sleeve always comes in handy, no matter what season it is.
Several of the Go2Girlz mentioned that they'd love to see a mesh bag or similar re-usable storage container included with the sets (some LEGO® and LEGO® DUPLO® sets are also available in re-sealable plastic storage bins). Our testers said this would have helped with cleanup and also to prevent losing any pieces.
But what did the testers themselves have to say about it? Here are some of their comments in their own words:

I was obsessed with Lego when I was a kid! Especially Space Lego. Creative and fun and the PERFECT gift.
Duplo is BIG in our house. Hours and hours of entertainment. This car set is for sure on our Christmas list this year. Awesome.
We love Duplo at my house. It's the perfect toy for both boys and girls to play with together.
Love the Duplo! and the fact that Lightning McQueen and Sally are there....just makes it that much better!
My son loves CARS! Pairing it with Lego Duplo has a passive activity (watching a show) into something that takes creativity and thought.
These sets are such a hit my son loves them and since they make him use his imagination and play I love them too!!
Our whole family loves Lego. It makes a great gift to for boys and girls. I especially like how no matter who comes over to our house... young or old they all have fun playing with it with our girls!!
I used to buy the "other" brand of building blocks, then my son tried Duplo, I now know that it is a much better investment. The quality of the blocks are amazing. They are easy to put together and take apart, they are interchangable with ALL Lego shapes and sizes(including original Lego), have great colours and the bottom line is that my son(3) looooooves them!! He has literally played with the Duplo everyday since we tried it. Guess what Santa is bringing this year? ;)
When we first recieved this to test, my 2 1/2 year old boy was obsessed with the cars set, now after playing with it for more than a month, he is now more interested in the other set with the numbers on it. It is a fun way to put the actual number to the pictures when he is counting, also there are alot more blocks in the set so he can make "bigger" stuff. Either way, you can't go wrong with lego duplo!
My kids love all Lego, but our whole family loved playing with this Cars set! We loved building the characters, and then changing them into monster trucks and other things! What a great way to let your kids' imaginations run wild!!!
My kids loved the duplo sets. It occupied them for a long time, enough time for me to make dinner in peace!
my husband whom still has his old lego was just as excited about the duplo as my 4 year old daughter was. they spent hours coming up with different ways to put them together
This creative toy is perfect match for any kids, I love to use Lego to create new toys everyday when I was a kid.
My son loves building blocks, and the fact that the Cars charachters were there made it even better! Playing and building these sets keep my son and husband busy for hours!
I love watching my girl work her way through building a 'castle' or a 'staircase' with Lego... I can virtually see the mouse turning the wheel in her head as she chooses the pieces to accomplish what she wants... it's awesome! That I get to help and play along is a bonus!
What I've loved most of all about Duplo specifcally is the size of the pieces. They are easy for her to handle and assemble... as we move to the smaller variety, she can just take a concept she now understands and refine her motor skills even further.
Did I mention that I get to help and play along? Did I suggest I play when she isn't home?
My Daughter just loved the Lego sets especially the Cars set. She carries the cars around with her and wants to take them everywhere. I loved the size of the blocks also. The other brand she had was too big and bulky for her to play with.
These are also easy to put away and do not take up much space.
I have had a couple people ask me about the Cars set because they were interested in it for their children for Christmas.
Cars Toys for Lego & Duplo are Amazing, my kids for 3 and 4 years old love playing all time with these. And is good to know that they learn to play and share together with the cars toys.
This lego was such a hit my kids were fighting over it. It kept them busy for hours and that is not a feat easily attained by any other toy. It's nice that it's compatible with our other lego as well. My daughter has asked for some of the other sets for Xmas now
