We've seen lots of laundry products before that claim to be able to treat stains and brighten clothes all while getting your laundry smelling fresh and clean, but we haven't actually seen all that many that can truly live up to that claim. So yeah...the Go2Girlz were eager to put Tide Pods through their paces and see what they could really do, and one hundred real-life moms did just that!

But were Tide Pods able to live up to this claim in real life? That's what the Go2Girlz set out to discover - putting them to the test with load after load of dingy, stained and smelly laundry. The verdict? Well, let's let Go2Girlz member Maria, a mom of 2, tell you in her own words: "Easy to use. No measuring required. Light weight! Surprisingly works great!!" And she wasn't the only one. In fact, our product testing panel agree: Tide Pods do what they say they will. In fact, nearly all of our testers would recommend this product to a friend and would (many already have) buy it for themselves again.
So our real-mom testers loved Tide Pods, but what about the rest of the family? Lots of our testers reported much more willingness by husbands to help with the laundry (go figure). Lori tells us this story about her daughter's reaction: "I didn't tell my daughters that I had switched to this type of detergent & right away my 9 year old daughter exclaimed that her sheets smelled really nice like her friend at school - I guess she must use Tide as well!" Guess it was a hit with the kids, too!

I loved these TidePODS. It made laundry so easy!! No mess, no fuss!! I have seen them in the stores and although they are a little more expensive, it is definitly worth it!!!
Wow! The Tide Pods are fantastic. Simple, no messing with a variety of bottles and powders. Just toss them in, add laundry and go! The fact that I can use them in my front loader is a bonus. Plus they left my laundry clean and smelling great. I definitely recommend them!!!
I think TidePODS are the easiest way I have done laundry to date. Start the washer, drop in a pod and add your clothes. Done! So simple AND my clothes smelled great too!
I can't believe how easy these Tide Pods are to use; I only need to drop one pod in the wash and my clothes come out clean and smell great!
Loved the Tide pods! Went to Costco on the weekend to pick up a new supply! They are so easy to use...maybe the kids will start doing the laundry now!?
I love these..3 in 1 and easy for travelling (I don't have to explain the powder in the bag anymore at customs). So simple!!! Love the fresh scent too! I tried it and went to Costco to get the party pack too!
These were so easy to use. My husband didn't know that I had been trying them out and had commented on day 2 that the laundry smelled "really good!" - He usually doesn't pay attention to this kind of thing.
My family loved the smell and I really loved how easy they are to use. I plan on trying them again and think they have convinced me it's time my oldest can learn how to do her own laundry without fear of using too much soap!

A wonderful product that makes doing laundry in an apartment building so much easier. No more lugging a huge jug down three floors to the laundry room. One tide pod and you are good to go!
No more drips down the detergent dispenser! The only downside that I can see is their expense, but they are definitely more convenient.

Wow, did I love these Tide pods. I took them away with me on vacation. We rented a condo in Florida that had a washer dryer. I packed the pods in my suitcase and used them throughout my vacation. They were so convenient and did a fabulous job cleaning my clothes. I would definitely recommend this product to all my friends and family.

These were really great and so easy to use. My 6 year old was actually asking if he could help with the laundry!!! I love that I can just throw them in and they do all the work, no mess, no measuring, no worries!!
These pods were SUPER easy to use. Just throw them in and voila! No messy spills left on my washing machine. And added bonus, the clothes came out bright and clean!
Awesome little pods, so clean, nice scent, excellent stain remover. I will be keeping these PODS as a regular laundry necessity. I love the premeasured pods, no spilling, easy to store. I have told all my friends and family about these.
I am a busy mom of 3 (including a teenager). The pods make it easy for my teenager to throw a load on for me also.
Tide PODS is an amazing new product! Tide PODS contain detergent, stain remover and brightener all in a compact dissolvable pod. The PODS also work in front load, high efficiency washing machines and in cold water washes too. We were amazed by how clean our clothes were after just 1 wash. Whites were brighter than before, new and old stains were gone and everything smelled so fresh! I'm glad that I was able to try out this great new product, because most likely I would have stuck to my old detergent being skeptical that a “pod” could be as effective, let alone better than, our current laundry soap. Love Tide PODS!

I LOVED THE TIDE PODS. as a mom of 2 i find the boys seem to stain things and these worked so well at removing stains and keeping them smelling fresh.
I love this new product. It's much different then anything else i've ever tried or seen in stores before. Its like the cascade package for dishwashers. I love how this product, you simply grab it and throw it in the wash, rather than measuring liquid or powder...so mess free, time free, hassle free, and even no thinking required. I love how easy this product is to use!
I loved this product! It was so easy to use, from a brand I trust. It smells great! I love that it has even less packaging and less waste. I can't say enough good about it! The only draw back is the price.
love the fact that there was no dripping detergent or spilt powder. I only wish they came in a smaller size because it was very hard to get all the detergent to rinse clean in my HE washer, which is a must with my husbands and daughter's sensitive skin.
The Pods were very simple to use and can use them for a regular of HE washing machine. Although many of the above comments noted the great smell, I found it a bit overwhelming. I'm used to using detergent that is scent-free so I found it a bit too much. Overall, however, nice and easy and who doesn't love that?!
Definately loved the scent. Simple and easy to use, was skeptical to try them in my front loader but everything worked perfectly. Only down fall is that my dog that they were treats everytime I went to do the laundry, he came running. :-)
Really liked how easy the pods were to use. Happy that they also included a stain buster. I was not happy with how strong the scent was because we are scent sensitive. Would live to see these in a "scent free" or low scent product. Thanks Tide!
I definately loved the convenience of these pods!!! As a Registered Massage Therapist and mother of a busy household it just made sense. The convenience, and the lack of measuring saved time, clean up and cleaned well too!!!

I prefer liquid laundry soap over the powder, but these are even better! No fuss, no mess, just throw them in and turn it on and the clothes come out clean and smelling great.
Now that I've had a chance to use them more, I am definitely more inclined to purchase these the next time I need laundry detergent.
I really loved the Pods. They are so convenient. No fuss with measuring. I didn't find that they made my clothes "brighter" but it washed the clothes really well. Even big loads.
I was a little worried that the Pods wouldn't dissolve properly in cold water since we use that setting more, but they did.

I love Tide Pods!!! Even my husband is hooked, and it's pretty hard to get a man excited about laundry detergent!!! Our clothes came out cleaner, brighter, and fresher than ever before, what a wonderful product, so easy to use and mess free! My son just loves tossing the Pod into the washing machine!
This product was so great to use if you have a busy schedule. All I had to do was pop it in the machine and I was done. It left my cloths clean even if my load was on the larger side. Would completly recommend them.
Really love this product! So easy! Measuring out drippy liquid soap when you have kids running around is not fun, and you have to take your eye off your kids (and who knows what they'll get into!). With Tide Pods, you just toss a pod into the washer! Much easier! Smells great, gets out stains, and makes the busy life of a mom a little easier!
My son wears a uniform to school -as you can imagine by this time of year things start to get stained and dingy. The Tide Pods brightened the whites and removed stains that have been around awhile! Love this product-very convenient, works as it claims!- my only suggestion would be to have a scent free version- although the scent was not overpowering, we prefer fragrance free products.
These were absolutely amazing. Even the dried ice cream stains on my daughter's shirt came out. And chocolate ice cream is not easy to remove!! I love the simplicity of just throwing a pod in with the laundry. As a busy mom any time saved is a blessing. Laundry day is easier and no rinsing out detergent cups after measuring liquid detergent. The smell was great too - not too overpowering or perfume-y... just nice light fresh scent. LOVE THESE PODS!! Definitely going to be a usual item on my shopping list. :)

I really liked these Pods. They were convenient and cleaned my clothes really well. Smelled good too. They are perfect for traveling with too - if your staying someplace with a washer. Plan on taking a pack of them with me on my next trip.

The Tide Pods are so easy to use. I used to use a powder brightener, pre-treat stains and add colour safe bleach as well as detergent. Now, just throw a pod in - it's so easy my 2-year-old even did it with me! She was so proud to "do the laundry" and help mommy :) We used it on some tough potty-training stains and it got everything clean & bright, I was surprised & impressed! I loved the smell as well - clean and fresh but not overpowering.
The Tide PODS are a fantastic laundry aid for me and my family. Easy peasy - no muss, no fuss. It was fabulous at getting out tough stains like chocolate out of our clothes. I love the convenience and combo of detergent, stain fighter, and brightener in one product. I can't say I have noticed the brightening aspect for my laundry but all the same Tide PODs are still a great way to do laundry!
The Tide Pods are very convenient and they work. However, I don't think the convenience is worth the price for me. For me to buy them again, they would have to be on a really good sale. I didn't notice a difference in how clean and bright my laundry was compared to my regular brand, but they certainly were not any worse. Great product, but pricey.
Not only did the Tide pods smell great, but they also worked great too. They come in a handy size and are very easy to use. No measuring and no mess; my kind of cleaning!!

glad you guys tested these, I have been eyeing them but I'm cheap and don't want to waste money on crap -- now going to buy some this weekend!
