domestic gear

Last night one of my favourite girls came over for a glass of wine and brought me this for Christmas.

I am pretty sure she knows I love it.

I screamed. I put it on. She took pictures. I wore it all night. I answered the door in it and felt very 50's. I am writing about it now. (A bit tough to type with the dish gloves on)

Domestic duties do not excite. Domestic duties with lovely matching things, a little bit sexy, a little bit pretty, a little bit young- makes for good clean fun in the kitchen.

When you wear something like this in the kitchen, everything tastes better, looks better, is better. The real problems fade away.

When your friend gives you something you love that feels like you it is the best feeling. The magic words "I saw this and only thought of you" are said  like a big fat hug. They see you, they know you and they spoil you.

I love this.

Apparently, I have to take it off when I take my kids to school on Monday morning.

Yes, the rest of the mommies might get jealous. Any chance of finding out where she got it. I love it.

Target! PS They are coming to Canada in 2013.

Thanks for the info, can't wait that long! Target doesnt deliver to Canada, *sniffles* I did find some really cute, sexy aprons at amazon though. Ordered one!
And can I just say I love your Blogs.

thank you! and I wouldn't wait that long either for something this transformational!

I can so see you wearing that this summer (with undergarments!) with one of your snazzy necklaces and a pair of flips, oh Queen of the perfect summer frocks!

unfortunately it is an apron........ what to do with the backside, dear neighbour?

Nancy,
you have the inspiring charm that would make a potato sack look delighful so you defintely make this one va va voom.

It reminds me again and again gorgeousness is as much about beauty as it is about essence.

o,i

I LOVE YOU> you are so nice! thanks for that.

You should wear that EVERY day, woman. Even to the school drop-off. I double-dog dare ya... ;)

just like you - 1/2 of my clothes come from the costume cupboard! So I don't need daring! I just wish I could wear it like a dress- sadly no butt coverage!

look out - Ali and Gav may try to steal that from you ...for another apron photoshoot!!

yes0 I thought that too- only mine is the family channel version!
