Writers Strike May Soon Be Over!!
I can always count on Stacy over at Snarkwife...to be, well, snarky. If you don't read her, you are missing out...especially her TV recaps. they are way funnier and better written that mine...
so...this morning i was over there and heard the best news i've heard in a while. well, maybe not THE best...i mean, Dani did go and have herself a 10-pound baby without an epidural...but, it's good news for the TV whore that i am...
According to CNN, writers gave support to a tentative agreement:
"I believe it is a good deal. I am going to be recommending this deal to our membership," Michael Winship, president of the Writers Guild of America, East, told reporters before the New York meeting at a Times Square hotel.
Winship said afterward that he was encouraged by the membership's response.
"We had a very lively discussion. I'm happy with what happened. ... At the moment, I feel strongly it [the proposed deal] has a strong chance of going through," he said.
surprisingly the only show i'm missing is new episodes of criminal minds....and the strike not bugging me because my fave show LOST is back on....
