Ali, it sounds more like you're jealous.
All women want to look their best, she's obviously not going to say "Oh, I look so fat, I hate myself, I hate the way I look", because that would just make her sound worse.
At least she's making other people feel better by saying what she said, regardless of whether or not she lost weight later on. Everyone has the opportunity to lose weight, and if she could do it, then so could all those other women.
