Powder My Nose.

Okay, so, here's the thing. Ashley Judd wrote a book called All Things Bitter And Sweet: A Memoir and she was in New York promoting it this week. But, sadly, this is the only thing people are talking about.

OY. OY. Makeup Malfunction.

Although, upon further investigation, it seems that this face-powdery mishap shows up only when the flashes are going off. Check out this video to see what happens when makeup artists use HD microfinishing powder on their subjects. So, while in person the person looks lovely and not shiny, on film, it's, well, a white hot mess

And lest you think that Ashley Judd's makeup artist was the first to make this mistake, I assure you, she wasn't.

Case in point #1: Nicole Kidman.

Case in point #2: Uma Thurman.

Hmmm....either those ladies have been nasty to their makeup people (or they've got good publicists who are covering up a nasty coke habit). Either way HAHAHAHAHAHA and thanks for sharing, Ali.

oh so brutal....i wondered what the deal was!
i also had issue with Ashley's dress (I was home sick on wed when she was doing her rounds of talk shows). I want to like her soooooo much but man she makes it difficult. I need a thesauraus during all her interviews to decipher what the hell she is talking about!

I feel like this sometimes. I will get somewhere and think - did I look at my face first? Anything clownlike? Any parsley? Seriously good to know these beauties, with their army of style support, make the grand gaffe too.

Jennifer, I was totally laughing about the concentration of white powder on the tips of their noses, too! Wow, you'd think pros would know better...
