They just announced the cast for this year and I want to give them some props.  In a daring move, they've brought on Chaz Bono.  In case you've lived under a rock for the last few years - Chaz is the former daughter, now son, of Cher and Sonny Bono.  He's been very open, and brave, in sharing his struggles as a transgendered person and has now undergone surgeries and hormone treatments to live his life as a man.  Chaz will dance on the show with a female partner.

Middle America is losing their minds!  'Whatever will we say to our children???'  I've got an idea - why don't you read them a book instead of letting them watch Dancing With the Stars?  Or how about not saying anything.  He looks, sounds, IS A MAN now.  Or here's a crazy idea - why don't you teach them about tolerance and have an honest discussion about accepting all people.

I have a bigger question.  How is Elisbetta Canalis on this show?  Does shagging George make you a 'star'.  HEY GEORGE.  I have another promise for you...I won't go on a reality tv show after you and I have our fling.  Call me....
