He's baaaaaaack. After time away from the 'scene', (remember his Playboy interview and insane tweets?), John Mayer is back with a new release - Shadow Days - that came out today.
Granted, he's looking a little too much like Johnny Depp for my liking (and god KNOWS I love the dirty, hairy musicians...) but he sounds amazing. Try listening to the song without watching the video. I find if you watch it you're waiting for him to bust into a Edward Scissorhands/Jack Sparrow impersonation.
Let's hope he just sticks to the music and doesn't go all John Mayer on us again.
He is a douche but his voice gives me goosebumps.

I agree with both Sarah and Nancy. I'll stick to listening to Shadowlands, and imagining a cleaner, nicer guy singing!
Shadow Days...Shadowlands is by another of my favourites, Ryan Adams (who by all accounts is cleaner and nicer!)
