Golden Globes Best and Worst Dressed

BEST:

Amanda Seyfried. i adore her and thought she looked fantastic!

Amy Adams. Stunning! not sure about the leaf earrings, though.

Kate Winslet. Possibly my favorite dress of the night. She KNOWS how to be classy!

Demi Moore. I thought she looked so nice last night! so nice!

Isla Fischer. a lot of one-shouldered dresses this year. love this one!

Laura Linney. I'm not a huge fan of this color normally, but she totally pulls this off. love!

Mary Louise Parker. I LOVE this dress. the color of the season! and her hair just complements it so perfectly! nice!

WORST:

Cameron Diaz. She can never quite get awards show dressing right, can she? This reminds me of Molly Ringwald's prom dress in Pretty in Pink. NOT GOOD.

Jenna Fischer. OY! drapes much?

Jennifer Lopez. She does this every year. accentuates the least attractive part of her body. She looks way too wide at the hip.

Blake Lively. I think this dress just looks too small. i like the detailing around the bustline...but your eye just focused to where the dress is pulling too much.

Marisa Tomei. are there even words to describe this?

Renee Zellweger. OUCH.

and the very worst hair award goes to none other than Drew Barrymore. YIKES!

best moments:

Kate Winslet winning TWO awards for The Reader and for Revolutionary Road...AND referring to Angelina Jolie as "the other one"

Ricky Gervais, toasted.

Tracy Morgan, toasted.

Tina Fey thanking the Hollywood Foreign Press and mentioned that growing up she had all their action figures.

a Slumdog Millionaire sweep!

a win for Heath Ledger's performance in The Dark Knight

the dude accepting his award for Slumdog Millionaire and slipping in an unedited "fuck" (which, apparently, was bleeped out in the US but not on CTV in CAnada. haha)

Demi Moore tells her daughter - publicly - what i'd been wanting to tell her all night...STOP SLOUCHING!

Gossip Girl
Blair and Uncle Jack. there's no way they, um, did it, right? right? there was not enough NATE in this episode. just saying. but i did appreciate the total lack of VAnessa...so there's that. couldn't we have enjoyed Dan and Serena back together for more than a minute? seriously? the rooptop scene! GAH! also, i totally heart Dorota. and i didn't hate Jenny in this episode...just her roots.

30 Rock
aha! AMAZING episode. "The lady will be having the tasting menu, but with some substitutions. Instead of, um, any of it, she'll have a cup of hot water with a chicken bone in it, and a bowl of salted ice cubes." Kenneth does the Teen Witch rap. DYING. Jenna as Janis! love! "SHUT IT DOWN!" hahah. A BLAFFAIR TO REMEMBLACK.

Grey's Anatomy
Eric Stoltz!!! GAH. love love love love him. Derek and Meredith's spazzy dancing? BEST. Seriously, the cheif needs to stop acting like a complete and total asshat. oh, Owen, you might manbond with McDreamy and you may be loving on Cristina, but you are NOT Burke. Dead Denny needs to die. again. gah..Alex bakes his crazy girlfriend a cake...sweet :) i like Mark and Lexie. don't hate me!

The Bachelor
wow. season after season these women continue to blow me away with how annoying and scary they can be. the MySpace stalker? YEESH! here's a tip...on the first night, you goal should be NOT TO COME OFF AS BATSHIT CRAZY. that is all. oh, and stop with the POEMS...i'm looking at you, Keri! oh, and no wiener tests. wtf? Deanna. what a total tool. coming back like that. i *hope* it's staged.
