It pretty much never happens but you guys have rendered me nearly speechless with your outpouring of support and encouragement on my last post. It's always kind of nerve-racking when you sit down at the computer and prepare to open up about what is pretty much your most shameful "secret" (of course, being fat is never really a secret - it's pretty obvious to anyone who claps eyes on you). But to find every comment - every last comment - so positive and so encouraging? Well, this probably isn't news to you but it's kinda unheard-of on the internet.
So from me to you: a resounding THANK YOU! This is probably the number one reason I love this community so much. The support. The respect. The kindness. You guys rock.
But anyways, on to the other reason for this post...I just finished my first official day on the new Weight Watchers 360˚ Program. So that's one down, the rest of my life to go! And it wasn't bad at all. I love the accountability of tracking my food. It really helps keep me aware of those 200 food-related decisions I mentioned in last week's post. This is one of the tools that really helped me the most in the past. You learn to eat when you're really hungry, you learn to make healthier choices, you finally feel in control.
And this time around, I don't even have to carry my paper tracking booklet everywhere with me, because Weight Watchers has these really cool e-tools, including a mobile app, with a tracker and points calculator built right in.
Check it out!
Yes, it does say "Starubucks" there...but it was a skinny latte and within my daily points allowance, so it's all good :)
