Nothing Is Safe In Our House...

Yesterday was my 7th wedding anniversary.  We decided to stick to our usual dinner out ( THE KEG= yum!), but husband surprised me with a bouquet of beautiful red roses as well.

The Boy LOVED these roses and was mighty upset this morning when he realized I wasn't going to let him touch them/play with them/destroy them.  I said "NO", he cried and threw his bowl of Rice Krispies off of his high chair tray.  Breakfast was done- off he went to play with his toys while I cleaned up the mess...or so I thought.

As I turned around from wiping down the walls, I saw this:

Today's lesson?? Our house is now officially unsafe- every surface (except for the kitchen counters) is climb-able for my kid.  And "No" means nothing.

Ohh boy do I remember those days!
They pass. And then you have another baby and are right back at it again.
I swear that's why I've gained 10 pounds over the past 2 years...because I'm not running after a toddler all day anymore.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!

I'm sorry Z. I shouldn't have let you touch them last night when I was holding you. Didn't mean to get you into trouble. :)

Yup...that is about right!! PS: love Nanny's comment!!

I shouldn't be laughing...because I'm there as well...but the pictures are hilarious!
