I had my birthday on the weekend. Funny how as I get older my birthday is more of an excuse to get out for a drink or dinner and could really pass by without a fuss and I'd be quite happy. Of course, I appreciate the homemade cake and cards my kids and hubby made but I ain't exactly 8 years old anymore. I'm not really one of those who obsesses about getting older 'cause, let's face it, it's inevitable so why bother? Plus, I know too many people who were not as fortunate as I am and never got the chance to get older.

I did, however, take advantage of my birthday to have a little fun. Check it out.

First - Good Friends:

Yah...I know...I'm not even IN the pic. But, believe me, I was having just as much fun!

Next, Good Food:

I LOVE Indian Food! See? I practically licked my plate. Yum...sorry Ali. I know how much you love it ;)

Here's where we went:

I would highly recommend it. Tabla Indian Restaurant and Wine Bar had great food (the dinner for two had a taste of everything) and the service and ambiance were perfect.

Finally, the most important ingredient, a HOTT date!:
