Home for the Holidays

This year will be the first Christmas in ages that my whole family will be together. I mean since before we had kids. Those were the days when we all lived in one place but now we are scattered far and wide so it becomes way more difficult to get everyone together.

When I was a child we would have HUGE Christmas celebrations with dozens of cousins and family members. Those are some of my fondest memories and I am so excited to have my kids share in that too. We have plans to cut down a Christmas tree from a tree farm, do a variety of Christmas baking and crafts, and ski, snowboard and toboggan like crazy!

My sis (Kath) arrived last week with her kids. I offered to take her two girls for the weekend so that she could spend some time with my parents. Although I am exhausted we had an amazing time! The kids were so well behaved and enjoyed each other so much. There is definitely something about the cousin connection. Check out the pics:

How cute are they?! Sleep was our only challenge but even that wasn't so bad!

I LOVE this pic. This is how they were all weekend. Totally at ease.

So now it is just my "little" sis and her ever growing belly to arrive this week and then my brothers-in-law for Christmas. I can't wait!
