Hilarious, but yes, frightening. Reminds me of those old cookbooks from the 50s. I was reading one over Christmas, and it was sooooo unbearably condescending. "A good housewife spends her pin money wisely" "Always wear a clean apron" "Think of your husband's preferences when planning meals"
