I have always been a big American Idol fan. I prefer it after Hollywood week when we know we've got some talent instead of the whole making fun and laughing at people part. I have to change the channel or cover my eyes during those bits.
But now, this season, we are seeing some of the most amazing talent American Idol has ever had. I have to admit that I found Adam Lambert a little creepy in the beginning. And last night when I saw him all cleaned up and everything he looked a little bit, well, like this:

Yah see? Anyway, I quickly got over it because I got so absorbed in the song. This guy is a real artist. Check out his rendition of Smokey Robinson's Tracks of My Tears. Even Smokey gave him a standing ovation:
My 9-year-old son's fave of the night is Kris:
And I also really admire this 16-year-old songstress whose got some serious pipes. Check out Allison:
