Mom's The Word

Paris with a 9-year-old

Checking in from the UK to report on our whirlwind 3 day tour of Paris! Wow. What an adventure. We stayed with friends, celebrated their son's 12th birthday, walked, ate, traveled by boat on the Seine, learned naughty words in French, drove Paris by night, explored Versailles and much, much, more.

But, for my son, one of the biggest experiences was - just like most growing boys - the FOOD.

Paris Crepes
A Crepe stand in Paris.

Caramel Crepe
Caramel and Salted Butter Crepe. O.M.G.

Paris Cheese
Cheeeeeeeeeese. My boy and I love our cheese and the Camembert was unreal.

Steak Frites
Enjoying the traditional Steak Frites at a fine restaurant in Paris.

boulangerie
The French bakery right beside their home where we had fresh baguette daily and morning croissant!

More to come of Paris and London in the next few days so keep checking and check out the photo album here and I will continue to add pictures.

Oh you two are lucky! Crepes, croissants AND baquettes. Also good weather I see.

Ahhh...Paris in the springtime! What a wonderful time for you both. Enjoy the rest of your trip :)
