I often wonder what inspires people to greatness. How do Olympic athletes get up day after day, year after year to put in hour after hour of grueling work for simply the chance to be an Olympian? How do peace keepers selflessly risk their lives and leave their families and homes to do something monumental for this world? How do others rise above their circumstances, overcome hardship and achieve greatness and inspire others along the way?
I know I am not the only one who admires these qualities in others. Today this video was being passed around on Twitter. I watched and I wept. I can always use a good cry but more than that I can always use some inspiration. Watch:

Ohh my goodness.... 2 days of tears! What a great commercial! I was at the Dove Esteem Summit for Girls yesterday. They had young women from all over the world on a panel say what they would tell their 13 year old self. Their responses were so amazing... I was in tears for so many reasons! All I could think of is SILENCE THE INNER CRITIC and NEVER GIVE UP!
We have said for a few years now that everybody wants their children to be unique and different.
But we decided long ago that we were not going to work our asses off to make Cuyler like everybody else. He is perfect the way he is.
