Everything must come to an end.
Well, that's what I have been telling myself. But selling a business you started is almost like saying goodbye to a loved one. I know that there will come a time when I will reflect on this experience and all of the lessons learned and it will all make perfect sense. But, for now, I have mixed emotions. I am excited to see what the future brings but a little sad that this period in my life has come to an end.
Last year I started SheBlogs Media. One year later and I have sold my shares in the company. This is both amazing - the evolution and growth of the business - and sad. I will miss the daily contact and relationships with some of Canada's most incredible female bloggers and social media influencers.
But it was time.
And next week, as a present to myself, I will spend time on a beach in Barbados at The Crane with one of my dearest friends relaxing, rejuvenating and celebrating while putting all of this in perspective and figuring out what exciting adventure comes next for me.

Well, it beats the fuck out of you burping politely when drinking Diet Dr Pepper at Purina. Like, at meetings when you probably weren't really listening.
Ha, Rob! Strange...I haven't had a Dr. Pepper since I left that place. I may need to revisit this decision. But yes, it certainly beats it hands down :)
