When working out, is it better to do an hour workout or 2 30 minute workouts. Do you burn the same calories either way? I don't always have time to do an hour a day.

Hi Charlene,
Excellent question! When it comes to exercise, from a health perspective, frequency is better for you than duration. In fact, there was a study that showed three 10 minutes walks per day lowered your blood pressure more than one 30 minute walk per day, and it kept it down for 24 hours. The same goes for triglycerides and cholesterol levels.
That said, in the words of Dr Oz, "it is burning 1,000 calories over four or five sessions - not one or two - that sets you up for a longer, healthier life."
Hope that helps!
Christine
