For weeks, I've been thinking "I'm not ready, I'm not ready, there's still so much left to do."  I had made a list of imperative household projects that I must accomplish prior to baby's arrival, and until those were completed, I commanded this child to stay in utero.

Now, I'm ready! So ready.  Ready to a point where I feel pain all the time: my back is killing me, my pelvis feels like it's going to fall out. The heartburn at 3am is unbearable. I could go on but I won't.  Each hour goes by like a day, and I'm losing it!  My son was 4 days late, and my daughter 2 weeks late.  I so hope this isn't the case with this one!

Thanks for listening to my rant - it's therapeutic to release my late-natal angst.   Here's a pic of me in my current state of largesse (taken at the birthday party we had for my son's friends this past weekend - note the very cool Batman cake!).  I'll keep you posted on my status over the next few days.
