Weird! Just yesterday as we were coming off the highway my son and I spotted one that said "MUR TER" . I thought it was horrible and my son did too. Shouldn't the censors have stopped that one? I mean, even my ten year old was offended.
I worked for a pathologist who specialized in placentas and stillbirths, and her license plate was POC DOC - POC stands for products of conception! Disgusting! Hopefully, most people thought she was a dermatologist.
Some thing just shouldn't be put on a license plate. Guess that's why the call them vanity plates. You have to be pretty vain to take display something like that and not see how stupid you look.

If it is an obstetrician, I hope that they only ended up with "placenta" because "birth doc" was taken. Weeeiiiird...
