This summer has been swell. After a dreary, soaking-wet spring, we've been savouring a month-long heat wave and this weekend we got out on the water and made some great memories in the boat.

Once we got out there, really flying across the lake, the kids perked up.
I am not usually a water sports fanatic. I prefer tanning on the bow and eating cheezies. But this year, I decided to take the plunge (ha! punny!) and try wake-boarding. I got up out of the water and had a great time.
And there was still plenty of time afterwards for tanning and cheezie-eating. Win, win!
