I like boating more and more each year. Something about our whole family together with no other distractions, just coasting over the glassy lake while the vineyards and mountains pass us by, is wonderful. The kids are happy, Brinley falls asleep in my lap, and the air is warm.
I feel very present when we're out in the boat. And that's really nice.

Lovely pic, lady! I love boating too... sadly, the lake and boat we use is over three hours away from home, and the season is over now, too- boat is in storage until next spring already. Poop.
We don't spend nearly enough time doing things as a family - unless you count trips to Home Depot at week ends. Oy.
