My friends and I have Girls Weekend in the Summer and in the Winter. In the winter we have anywhere between 4 to 12 people come to Niagara Falls for the weekend in February. We get a motel room and go to the casino and walk up and down Clifton Hill, have a few drinks and all have a great time.
In the summer time we go and rent a cottage in Lowbanks (Ontario) sometime in August and we have fires and eat, drink and be merry. We have a great time. In the summer we have anywhere between 5 to 22 people, depending on if everyone can get away.
We all look forward to our going away in the winter and summer. I myself try to go to each one, because we have so much fun.
This year in the summer we are going to have theme party, a Luau. This will be different as we have never had a theme party before. Some of us buy special things for our group: my two good friends Shirley and her sister, my sister-in-law, Joan have bought sweatshirts, flip-flops, hats, shirts, bags, etc. and I have bought us shot glasses. We also decorate our sweat shirts with different sayings about our weekend and we always say "What happens on Girls Weekend stays on Girls Weekend"!
Our next big trip is February 23 to Niagara Falls; we can't wait. We have a family suite that can hold up to 10 people going to have a great time: wish you could come!
