My role as a professional communicator obviously comes into play in my personal life. Early on in my parenting career, when I was filled with hope and promise and not covered in jam, I promised myself that I would not forget what it was like to be a kid so I could relate better to my kids. Tasman scored his first soccer goal last night. It was purposeful gain of the ball, cutting to the centre of the field in front of the goal and blasting a left footer in the top corner. The keeper never had a chance. He bounded toward me like he just scored the game winner in the World Cup Final.
