Last month, my 11 year old son hosted a bbq to celebrate the annual visit of one of his best buddies whose family moved to Switzerland three years ago. As the guest of honour (and all the guests) were 11 year old boys, I felt it was safe to put the menu in my own son's hands. We headed to the grocery store and loaded up on burgers, buns, koolaid and then hit the snack aisle. His eyes widened in wonderment at the brand new product in the aisle
Doritos Late Night Allnighter Cheeseburger flavoured chips!!
It must have been a tween boy who was working in the Doritos creative labs and came up with this new flavour, because I can't imagine anyone else thinking "Tortilla chips are great, but what we really need is chips that taste like a McDonalds Happy Meal". The chips are incredibly flavourful and, after the first slightly unsettling bites, highly addictive.
Since then, we've also tried the Late Night Jalapeno Popper flavoured chips which are not for the faint of heart. Some like it hot, and for them, these chips might be the ultimate snack. They're not the chips I'd serve at a cocktail party with my girlfriends, but they're absolutely perfect for the tween set!

What I wish they'd bring back was the guacamole doritos.
I lived on them when I was pregnant in 2002 and stopped making them...they were delicious! They only make them in "Collisions" where they're mixed in with habanero flavour...too hot for me.
These are so delicious! We tried them a few months ago and keep them in the house for our family movie night & game night and whatnot. I do catch hubby sneaking them off to work though! :P

You're so right, just like a Happy Meal! The jalepeno type is quite good if you mix another, milder flavor in, like guacamole. Cheers!
