I need a new computer to keep everyone organized. My entire life is on my current laptop but it is ooooold and slow - it's final reboot is definitely near. I love the look of the Envy Sleekbook. Of course I would share :)

I would love a new laptop. Every computer in this house has been purchased by me and claimed by another member in my family. To have my own would be really nice.

I could definitely use a new laptop. Our old lap top actually belonged to my husband, although if you ask him he'll say it's a 'shared' laptop. It was really never mine to use, unless of course I was asked to look up something for the kids. Besides that, our lap top isn't so sleek or light, more like a big flat rock! Oh how I would love to have my very own sleep laptop!

I've had my current laptop's hard drives replaced twice now. It's great that I had the gut instinct to pay for an extended warranty, which I know is usually just a sales gimmick (so the repairs didn't cost me anything)...however, I didn't save everything onto a portable usb on a regular basis and with each crash I lost a lot of precious information. It's kind of disconcerting working on a computer that is so unreliable. I've been putting money aside every month for the past couple of years, under a tight budget, towards a good new, reliable, notebook computer and I'm confident that in a few more months I'll have enough needed.

My three year old Hp Pavilion laptop is on the fritz! It's working at the moment, but it was shutting itself down mysteriously everyday for weeks.

My husband is away for work for weeks at a time in areas where his cell phone won't work, and the only way to hear his voice is over Skype on our computers. It's also the only way our seven month old daughter can see her daddy.

Oh my family does have Notebook ENVY!! I have a little wee netbook that I protect like a third child. It is mine, and mine alond...or was until both my dear daughters strated coming home with "research" that just had to be done on a computer! I recently re-joined the work force at a great little start-up company. It's amazing to be working again, but I am doing so on a computer that is ancient since everyone uses their own computers; I don't have a working computer, so they (kindly) dug up a computer for me to use.

My old clunker has me worried that it wants to take retirement, whereas I can't. I've still gotta keep track of my expenses, pay my bills and keep in touch. My Mother would be the one using it the most as she needs a way to try and get people to look at her Native Designs, she works on making dream catchers: both beaded and original with just a few beads in the center of the dream catcher with leather wraped around it. moccasins the two types she works on are the small moccasin slippers or shoes and the boots with long enough lacing to wrap around the legs 5 times or so, she also makes ear rings, beaded lighter holders, braided keychains, chokers, Grass Dancer Outfits and so on. she would deeply benifite from winning this laptop so she can try and get people to buy her wears. also my little brother could use the laptop also so he could look up stuff for his school projects and this would allow me and my brother to see each other weekly or daily since i dont live with them. thank you in advance for looking over my comment and have a nice day

I desperately need a new laptop/notebook. Mine is about 6 years old and starting to go; its at the point where it stalls or I get the blue screen of death occassionally. Its hard getting my work done, let alone get my assignments (for school) done. Sharing the desktop with the rest of my family is very hard because I normally end up doing my homework at weird or late hours (I can't cut into everyone else's computer needs, especially not the kiddos'). I live in a 5 person home. My olderson had his laptop for University and my highschooler and Elementary use the home computer (Which was bought in 2005) for home work and downloading game and music. This is frustrating because when my husband or myself go to use it runs slow and I have had to send it out a couple times to clean it out. I tell my kids that I am trying to save up my points on my rewards cards (snail's pace as i have been for 3 years) in order to have my own laptop or notebook that my husband and I can share and that is off limits to the kids. This laptop would be fantastic for myself and my 6yr old son (who has discovered YouTube)! Currently, my 10yr old daughter has taken over my other laptop and our other computer is a dinosaur desktop that cannot seem to handle much anymore. The person in my house that could really use this is me. As i sit here typing this my laptop is falling apart, we can not use unless it is pluged in, the back of the screen cracked back in the spring and we tried gluing it, that doesn't work well, lol. So with that we can not close the laptop since it cracked so we slid a gift card over the little button thingy to turn it off. So the glue is not holding it anymore so it cracked more in the front so i have one of those big binder clips holding the broken screen together. It is my youngest son who really deserves this laptop. I have been a single Mom on disability with Lupus for over 10 years. He achieved extremely high marks in high school and went on to University although we have had a pretty rough life since their Dad left us. My family story: my brother purchased a laptop for my mom at Xmas. This one was a lemon, I was able to get it replaced but it was still not functioning properly. My husband and I do not own a laptop but a desktop. My hubby had a gift card found from a while back and we decided to get my mom a new laptop with it for her birthday! She was so happy she cried, she had struggled with her first ever computer and had been so disappointed that she could not get I touch with her family and do her ancestry...this is all she wanted it for. Well it brought tears to all of us and it is true that giving is so much better than receiving. Now I have a tablet that my hubby gave me for birthday...so he took care of us and now, his desktop broke! Would cost so much to repair! I am writting this for him! Desperately need a new laptop. This would be amazing! Fingers crossed.

I would have to say my dad and I both could use it. Therefore, we would probably share one. He only uses it to check his email or play proline. Then I could use it the rest of the time!

I'm the techie in my house, so the laptop would be for me! I'm using an old netbook right now, I could use the new one and pass the netbook to my hubby :D
