One you should know about me: I am a sucker for ruching. Another thing you should know about me: with very rare exception, I don't do strapless dresses. Too much...HOISTING. And while I don't yet own this pretty magenta dress, I'm feeling mighty covetous. It has beautiful ruching detail, and the one-shoulder look (which can sometimes have a Snookie-ish quality) seems classic here; almost Grecian. The silhouette looks extremely forgiving, and figure flattering. I'm dying to wear this to an upcoming event this summer with a pair of (ridiculously uncomfortable) gold sandals. (The price is $44.50, comes in other colors, and it ships to Canada, as well. Score!)
That looks gorgeous - lovely colour too! I have issues with strapless dresses also... and the bra issues that go with them. Oy. You're right though - it's Grecian-looking and would be ideal with gold sandals. Hmmmmm...
Oh. My. that is GORGEOUS. But like Tracey, it's the strapless bra thing that always gives me pause and I really do need one. Now if you could find a good, comfy, effective strapless, that would be a column that *I* might pay you to write! (And then go back and buy this dress, since the price is definitely right.)
