The tank top is older than the skirt by a few years... generally, separates fit better on me than dresses. But this post is all about the hat.
I bought this straw cowboy hat from Winners once... I think this is our third summer together. It has a handful of sparkly beads and large copper sequins around the band, but they're very spare - light and uncomplicated. It has a wire rim, so if it gets bent out of shape, I can just bend it back. It's a golden-brown neutral, so it goes with just about everything I own - I just wear it.
Because no matter how much pigmentation your skin has, you still need to protect yourself from the sun. And never mind the wrinkles - I'm talking about melanoma. Be kind to your skin. Drink water. Apply sunblock. And for goodness sake, wear a hat!
Giddyup... it's officially SUMMER!! If the hat fits, buy it...

Poo! Youll have to go find another on then... but I must say - I like the one in your pic... Id totally buy a wide-brimmed floppy hat, if I could find one to fit. Cutting my hair this short sometimes has its disadvantages... but Im never going back to hair. At least, I dont think I will... Ill just rock the hats instead!
