From My Closet - September 9th, 2011

I actually wore this blouse yesterday since I was hosting my back-to-school brunch for my mummy-friends in my neighbourhood. A sheer blouse over jeans says, "I'm dressy, I'm casual, and oh yes that is my bra... what of it?" all at the same time. I wore it with some sparkly ballet flats and twinkly denim-coloured bead bracelets.

Three-quarter length sleeves sometimes make me feel ridiculous, but with the gathered cuffs and the flounce at the hemline, it's girly without being overly frilly - that suits me just fine. No necklace, since the wide collar has an off-centred bow.

I think the cut makes me feel all French and whatnot. Just call me Fifi from now on...

PS - It's also machine washable. This is super-important since I'm super-lazy...
