Yeah, so... stretchy teal cords. I've mentioned before about having trouble with colour sometimes, but this isn't like whackadoodle blue or anything... this tone is easy to wear - and it plays well with other blues, browns, and greys. (Tip: Coloured jeans or cords are a fun way to modern-up your look this fall, without breaking the bank. Plus, you probably have all the accoutrement to go with... just decide what colour you want to rock, and GO GET SOME. For not a lot of bucks, either Joe Fresh or Old Navy could be your huckleberry... and everything gets softened with grey accessories. Try!)
For today's 'hood-rat doings, I paired them this nonsense charcoal grey top I've had for a while, and the excellent brown riding boots I bought on sale in May.
And I picked up this cotton infinity scarf from the place that rhymes with Sinners the other day... I thought it was a dark grey with cream stripes, but it's actually a very deep brown - the tone goes in the grey direction, though. It's my new best friend, yo - I will be wearing this one A LOT this fall. And the slouchy toque was a gift from my friend Julie, with whom I went sprint-shopping with at 6:30 PM yesterday until the stores closed... it's a cosy, nubbly grey that borders on purple. And I'm so happy to have it, since I lost my other awesome, cozy toque at the Bell Centre when I saw Prince last year, around my birthday. (I reckon it was worth it though. PRINCE, man. Holy crap!)
So greys. Browns. Purples. Teal blues.
