First of all, I can't believe this tutu is still in rotation - it's sized 12 - 18 months, but it didn't even start to fit her properly until she was close to three years of age. It's one of her favourites because it's all swishy. It's one of my favourites because it's good ol' basic grey. It's machine washable, virtually indestructible, and it goes with everything. Given the crazy-long longevity, it's the best almost-no-money I ever spent.
But the thing I'm happiest about are these awesome leather riding boots I bought her about two years ago on sale (because you know I'm not spending $65 on this kind of thing for a kid this age) and they're just starting to fit her now - there's a very good chance they'll still fit her in the spring, too!
I'm loving the crazy-legs tights, with polkadots on one leg, and stripes on the other, and I put a pair of tall striped grey socks with fuschia tops, just to add some more colour - and this is a great pink on this child - and so suits the t-shirt in the same colour. Add jacket and jaunty knitted beanie, and BOOM - let's go shopping, and maybe even visit daddy at work for a quick
coffee ice cream cone.
